whats good with you?

just thought i'd take a moment this morning to post about what is good with life right now, and hopefully you guys post similar stories as we the holiday season begins.


-working hard in school feels good
-i get to see my family today, and extended family tomorrow for the first time in a while
-its snowing like crazy here in MT, and its really pretty
-i have great friends both here and back home in MN and a great gf who makes me smile a lot
-we all have a great bmw forum with a lot of really nice people
-i have my health 100% back


i may post more later, i'm in sort of a bubbly good mood this morning

I have a wonderful loving family and two wonderful grandchildren.
I have a beautiful wife who loves me for who and what I am.
We have the God in our lives, who blesses us daily.
We live in a truly great country.

I'd like to thank military personnel for their service.

Well, I'm feeling really good about life right now.

I just got engaged! So, I'm flying high right now.
I couldn't possibly be doing better in school - and I'm learning about stuff that I love.
Will be spending Thanksgiving with my family.
Will be spending my entire Christmas break with my fiancee, visiting both my family and hers.

Life is good!!

* Have very loving and supportive parents.
* Got an extention on a paper that was due this past monday.
* Have a woman that I really care about who feels the same way
* Going to spend Thanksgiving morning at Turkey Bowl (My highschool and our arch rival duke it out at the Raven's Stadium) with my buddies from high school
* Going to spend Thanksgiving with my best buddies and family
* Will be done with my undergrad in less than a month
* My family is moving to a much nicer neighborhood
* My brother and I have never been closer
*And I'm happy for JUSTIN'S ENGAGEMENT!!! Congrats man!!!!

I like this thread. Makes the crap of the world feel less important.

There are so many things to list.

A wife and relationship of such great compatibility

Two kids that are absolutely brilliant and healthy that were give no chance for survival at birth

Learning to relax and that it’s okay to just do nothing on occasion, even when not on vacation

My small extended family. They could expand a bit though, no weddings since 1992 and I have the only kids in the family. But with one brother at 28 and one at 25 we should be adding some people.

Dude, that's more than something to be thankful for; that's a miracle. I know someone who went through something similar to that and every year on her son's birthday she just sobs in praise of whatever caused her child to live. You and your wife really have a lot to be thankful for. How old are they (your kids) now?

They are twins and two years old. They are adopted from a mother that took massive amounts of drugs to try to abort them. You are correct, it’s a miracle and rare outcome to say the least.

Car is working fine. M3 are expensive to fix.
Girlfriend hasn't asked for the 1 carat engagement ring yet.
Boston traffic has been doing okay lately.
I have an extra bag of Doritos.
Steam works for once.

A beautiful son - thats says "I love you daddy" out of the blue(and doest ask for candy or a toy after saying it!)
A wonderful mother(so strong after the recent death of her husband)
Great Friends(that plan a ski trip on Thanksgiving Day! No thanks! I need my turkey day!)
A car I look at and thank the creator for blessing me with the brains to get(dreamed about that since I was little looking in Car&Driver and Road&Track..LOL)
