Replacement Transfer box

I have recently been told that the transfer box on my 2011 X5 40d needs replacement as it giving a lot of noise and vibrations. I am struggling to work out what the model number would be for a replacement, is there any way I can find this out without getting under the car?

I had a similar experience with my 2012 X5 35xi and had the transfer case flushed, filled, flush, filled, flush and filled, literally 3 times, took about an hour but No More Noise or that gronchie feel in the steering wheel. (New to this site, not sure if you got this taken care of already)
